The Staffpower Story
Opening its doors in 2006, Staffpower has become synonymous with the Albury-Wodonga region and its wider community. The business was founded by Ray and Helen Wilson and the ongoing success that we have today is based on the hard work and the service that they provided which helped form the relationships that we enjoy today.
Primarily operating within the blue collar industry, Staffpower have become one of the region’s leading recruitment providers, providing a superior level of service to our clients. We are based in Albury NSW, however our business activities expand throughout Regional NSW and north east Victoria, stretching as far as Melbourne.
In 2021 Ray and Helen sold the business to Jarrod Hodgkin, their account manager of almost 5 years. Jarrod and his staff understand the importance of continuing to operate Staffpower as Ray and Helen intended, which is to help people and organisations succeed, to become the best that they can be, which is why we continue to love what we do.

Jarrod Hodgkin
Director
After graduating from University with a double degree in recreation management and business marketing, Jarrod fell straight into the role of a recruitment consultant in Melbourne. After spending over 6 years in Melbourne Jarrod moved back to Albury Wodonga and became Staffpower’s Account Manager, and is now the managing director. Jarrod has a down to earth nature and possesses a strong set of business skills.
Luke Hawkins
Recruitment Manager
Luke has spent the majority of his working life in retail management, including 9 years at Bunnings where he completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Management. Luke Joined the Staffpower team in 2017 and has enjoyed every minute so far. He prides himself on helping others and delivering a prompt and efficient service to his clients while building trusting relationships.
Julie Prince
Payroll/Bookkeeper
Julie is our payroll manager and to this date she has never missed a pay. An integral part of Staffpower, Julie is great with all employees as well as our clients.
Staffpower Community
At Staffpower we love everything that is local, and we are truly proud to call ourselves a local business. We considers ourselves extremely fortunate to be able to live and work on the border of Albury/Wodonga.
We exist to help local people within the community find work, whilst also helping business within the same community find the people that they need to help their business succeed.
We possess a strong sense of community spirit and are actively involved in sporting and social clubs throughout the Albury / Wodonga and district regions. Our home is on the border, we were raised on the border and we love coming to work every day and dealing with other people within our great community.
